About this house sitting position in Maroochydore

We have a delightful little cottage in Maroochydore that overlooks the Maroochy River. We also have a 2 year old Hungarian Vizsla and a 13 year old Cat who have a love hate relationship (lol)!

Unfortunately our last awesome house sitters have re-settled close to us after a few years on the road and have Grandparent duties now, so it's time to see if there are some other awesome sitters out there willing to enjoy our slice of paradise with a love of animals.

Our house is an elevated 1 level home with 4 bedrooms, (one is a dedicated office) and a gym room. We have garage access and extremely low maintenance gardens, as well as an outdoor BBQ/entertaining area that flows into the main part of the house.

We would prefer a solo/couple that do not have any pets themselves as the cat is skittish with other animals in the house (he is partially blind but that doesn't stop him much - in fact he sleeps for about 18 hours a day now). But verbally he will let you know it's time for hugs or food!

Our Vizsla is still young and she loves her morning walks, swims and a little "lap dog" time. She is trained by both hand and verbal cues which any potential sitter will be able to to continue, crate trained, lounge trained (😂) and someone with a knowledge of pointers and their quirks would be awesome. She is also registered at a Doggy Day Care facility if you need a day here or there to explore the Coast by yourself.

We understand that this particular sit is short, but we do have a couple more coming up that will be longer and would love to have someone who can be a constant in their routine and also gets enjoyment out of being in a great spot on the Coast. Read more...
