Looking for a kind and caring dog and house sitter to mind our gorgeous almost 2 yr old Golden Retriever Loki, and to take care of our much loved home. We have a three bedroom, two bathroom clean, tidy and comfortable Home in Mt Hutton , a suburb of Newcastle. Seeking a mature couple or solo traveller (non-smoking) that will be able to take Loki for a minimum of two walks per day of about 20 -30 minutes each just around the neighbourhood (weather permitting of course) and to look after our home as we would. Loki loves going for a walk and a sniff, he’s very friendly and never aggressive. He loves everyone and all dogs he has met so far. Loki sleeps inside in the living area on his own bed and usually gets up around 6.30 to 7 am to go outside of a morning. He spends the day outside in the yard. Nothing really required regarding anything at Home except quickly run the vacuum over the floor (it’s not a huge area) as Loki drops a little hair being a golden retriever. Other than that just enjoy your stay in the company of our sweet playful and affectionate boy.
We do have space for a caravan out the front of our place or it can be parked in our driveway. The city of Newcastle is a 20 minute drive away where there are lovely places to explore and walk around. Warners Bay is a lakeside suburb about 5 minutes drive away where there is a beautiful foreshore area to walk, bike ride or have a coffee at any of the many cafes. Shops at Lake Macquarie Square are a 5 minute drive and Charlestown is less than 10 minutes drive away as well. Vineyards at the Hunter Valley are around an hour away.
