About this house sitting position in Mountain Creek

We are looking for a trustworthy and caring house sitter to look after our home and our much-loved Golden Retriever, Pippa, while we are overseas.

Our home is located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, just a 10-minute drive or an easy 6km bike ride to the famous Mooloolaba Beach. We have several bikes available for you to use if you’d like to explore the area that way.

Shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and takeaway options are also just a short drive or bike ride away, and public transport is nearby. The neighbourhood is safe, quiet and friendly.

The house itself is a modern four-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, open dining and entertaining areas, and a comfortable living room with a large couch and TV. The home has Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and garage access.

Outside, we have large front and back yards with some lovely garden areas, perfect for relaxing outdoors.

House sitters will have access to:
- The main bedroom with ensuite
- A guest bedroom
- A separate bathroom and toilet
- All living areas and kitchen

You’re also welcome to use some of our recreational gear, including bikes, a stand-up paddleboard, skateboards and a longboard.

About Pippa 🐾
Pippa is our beautiful 3-year-old Golden Retriever. She is affectionate, well-trained, desexed and absolutely adores people. She will never say no to a play, a cuddle or a pat.

She is great with other dogs and loves going to the dog park, as well as her daily walks.

Pippa usually has two walks per day of around 45 minutes each (morning and afternoon). She enjoys getting out and about and exploring the neighbourhood.

Because Pippa is very social, we would prefer house sitters who are home for the majority of the day and happy to include her in their routine. She can comfortably be left alone for up to about four hours, but otherwise she’s happiest when she has company and feels part of the family.

She is an indoor dog and sleeps inside. The couch in the front living room is very much her spot 🤣, although she will often choose a cool tile floor and occasionally her dog bed. She also loves spending time outside in the yard.

Expectations
We are hoping to find someone who will:
- Take great care of Pippa
- Walk her twice daily
- Keep the house tidy and secure
- Water the garden if needed
