About this house sitting position in NEWPORT

Inner Melbourne river and bayside suburb with great bus and train network. Waterfront walk to Williamstown centre for pubs, cafes, restaurants, groceries and variety of shopping. Iconic Williamstown swimming beach a short drive or bus trip away.
The house is bright, light and very comfortable with a good size back yard which captures the sun beautifully.
We have two cats and one pug who eat, sleep, cuddle and love the company of humans and have a strong daily routine they follow. All require medication in their breakfasts and dinners.
The two cats who have a big outdoor enclosure and they have two way access through a cat door into the house. They spend most of their time in the enclosure and need their toilet areas checked and cleaned and food and fresh water topped up everyday. They are very friendly and loving on their own terms, typical cats really.
We are looking for a single person or couple who can be home a fair bit, as we do not leave our pug alone for more than 6 hours during the day.

“John And Penny had us back for six weeks after doing a previous set for a week, it is a lovely home, very cozy and warm with central heating throughout. They were excellent with communication, very thorough and detailed instructions. They were also very understanding with a few things that came up during the Sit. Barry is a cute older pug who we affectionately named Velcro pug, as he is always with you, keeping you company and helping you cook, he has a very gentle nature, and is quite a character. Rosebud one of the older cats just love to come and sit in your lap and receive pets, she is a great lap warmer. Derek the other cat, took some time to get used to us, and it was a bit more skittish, but eventually he came for Pats as well. Thank you, Penny and John! ”

“I had a lovely stay at John and Penny's place. I enjoyed looking after two adorable pugs and a cuddlesome cat. The home is comfortable and situated in a lovely area with access to a relaxed walk around the bay to the local shopping centre. Communication between John, Penny was good, and nothing was too much trouble to them. I loved the detail of the written instructions given which made the feeding times of each fur baby so much easier for me. Thank you John and Penny for trusting me with the care of Barry, Maggie and Rosebud. I would be happy to return if ever needed again. ”

“John and Penny were excellent hosts, we felt very welcome and comfortable in their home, the instructions were fantastic and well written with pictures step-by-step. A very comfortable home and we love taking care of Barry and Maggie, and two cats Derek and Roaebud who were shy but cute, two older and very adorable pugs. Excellent communication by WhatsApp and prompt responses to any questions we had. Looking forward to taking care of all these cuties again in the near future :) highly recommend.”
