About this house sitting position in Port Macquarie

Hi! We’re a young married couple looking for a reliable and dog-loving house sitter for the Christmas break.

We live in a newly built, modern 3-bedroom home in a quiet area of Port Macquarie. There’s a double bed guest room, a study and the main bedroom (if needed), and the house backs onto a nature strip with lots of open space, walking tracks, and plenty of birdlife (we often spot kangaroos too!).

We have two standard poodles who are a big part of our family:

Pluto (8, apricot) – gentle, well-trained, and loves a good game of fetch
Dash (4, black) – energetic, playful, very loving (big fan of pats), and gentle

They get along great, love playing together, and are both friendly dogs. They do have a bit of energy, so they’ll need someone comfortable with dogs who can give them a walk once a day, play with them and give them some attention.

They have full access to the house and yard and are well-behaved indoors. They’re not allowed on the beds unless invited.

The house itself is really comfortable, with ducted air con and off-street parking, so it’s an easy and relaxing place to stay. There are lots of young families in the street, whose kids are always playing outside.

The house is 10-15minutes from town and beaches.
