About this house sitting position in Ridgewood

Hi there, we are located on the top of a ridge on very beautiful serene 33 acres in the Hinterland of Noosa, Sunshine Coast on an Off-Grid property, meaning our power is from the sun and batteries ONLY (Explanation is on the end*.) In a rural area called Ridgewood, which is about 8 km west of Cooroy. A friendly town with supermarket, nice cafes, library, banks (ATM) and restaurants.
Our house is a beautiful setting, positioned on top of a high ridge with magnificent views. Big open-plan living space, with huge windows to enjoy the view and terraces. A fireplace to enjoy, too. The telephone connection/internet (NBN) is very good.

Here about our much loved fur babies.
We have a very loving, gentle and relaxed senior male cat "Louis" and a sweet 1.5 year old girl "Lola". They are used to having us around and therefore we love to have someone here most of the time instead of been out all day. Who loves interacting/playing/talking with them. They enjoy a walk with us in the afternoon down on the big lawn.


We'll be away from the 9th - 24h of March. Ideally the person arrives a day earlier to get to know the place, off grid living and the cats.

On our land, in a separate dwelling, will be a very nice lady tenant or maybe she is living in her own house by then.

If you love nature, wild life and cats and want to enjoy total peace and quiet in a magical place, that's our place. We are looking for a quiet, responsible, mature person lady but also, if suitable, a couple which is/are experienced sitters. We would love that the sitter is responsible, honest and reliable person, looks alter the property, the cats and the plants.

*Off-Grid explanation:
We are NOT at all connected to main grid electricity. So solar power only. The sun provides enough power during daytime for TWO BIG electric devices like (A) dishwasher, oven, electric kettle, hairdryer, washing machine. At night time/dark or overcast the power comes from only from batteries. Meaning, only the following can be used as 24/7 fridges, lights, fan, TV, laptops . Meaning, between about 10am and 4 pm, two high power users are possible to use. When dark or no clear sunshine it's NOT possibkebtonuse things like the oven or washing machine or hairdryer.
