About this house sitting position in Seabrook

Hello! We’re looking for a reliable and caring sitter to care for our indoor plants, home (suburban one storey brick and tile) and most importantly our dog, Roma, from Sunday morning 22nd June through to Tuesday evening 15th July. In total about 3 weeks.

Ideally, we’d love to find someone (individual or couple) who are retired or work remotely/WFH, so Roma isn’t left alone for long stretches of time (no more than 3-4 hours). We both work from home so Roma is used to company. This will be the first time we’ve left Roma for an extended period, so it’s important to us to find someone who can commit to providing her with consistency and comfort.

Roma is a sweet, cuddly, loving 1.5-year-old GSP x Harrier who loves her walks —she gets a minimum of one hour a day/5km. We’re fortunate to have a variety of beautiful walking tracks, parks, and beaches nearby for daily adventures! Roma is a medium sized dog of about 20kg, she walks very well on the lead and likes a mixture of sniffing walks and exercise walks. She is very well behaved and knows her sits and stays, and does not bark! She's very friendly with people and other dogs, but still sometimes has puppy tendencies. Her recall is excellent...when she's not distracted. So we would be advising she's kept on the lead while on walks. Roma is fully covered with pet insurance.

Our house is a single storey brick and tile, three bedroom/two bathroom home. Both spare rooms are currently converted to offices where we run our business from.

From our home you will have access to wifi, air conditioning, dishwasher, bbq, heater and off street/driveway parking.
