About this house sitting position in Seaford

Myself and my husband are heading overseas for 4 weeks and looking for either a couple or an independent single who can look after our two cats (Bruce & Trent) and German Shepherd (Chad). Cats are indoor/outdoor, though need to be in of a night time. German Shepherd is 4.5yo and full of beans. Loves his morning walk, is cruisy to spend his day lounging around outside whilst we are off at work. Afternoon he loves a ball play in the backyard and then to come in and hang out inside after dinner before bed time. Needs to be brought in before dark otherwise he barks at the creek noises.

The house is an old Cape Cod style home with plenty of character. Two storey, however upstairs is not suitable for living (storage only). Downstairs was renovated and offers main bedroom, large bathroom, modern kitchen and living to the rear. Home office setup available for use (two spaces), wifi, netflix all available. Located 200m from Seaford beach, 600m (11 min walk) to nearest train station, 20 mins to Mornington and approx 45km south of Melbourne CBD. Large backyard, property backs on to Kananook Creek. Seaford shops 500m walk which offers bakery, fish and chips, newsagency, numerous cafes and now our very own wine bar.

Great walking trails around - beach, wetlands, river, foreshore.
Bayside Shopping Centre 5 mins drive or two train stops away.
Local supermarket (Woolworths) 15 min walk or 2 mins drive.

My parents live next door and will be available to help out if ever need i.e. heading out for the night, an event or a weekend away.

Interested parties must have experience with big dogs, love cats and be up for keeping routine for them best as possible. Read more...
