Our home is located in St Peters, 10 mins walk from Sydenham Metro/Train station, 10 mins from Newtown's King St, and 10 mins from Marrickville Metro. It is a single story house with a yard. It's currently configured with just a single bedroom, but we have a foldout couch in the living room too.

We are primarily looking for someone who can stay at our home to take care of our 5 year old corgi, Checkers. She needs a morning and evening walk, usually around our neighbourhood visiting one or two of our nearby parks along the way - approximately 45 mins, twice a day. She is usually okay around other dogs, but can sometimes be reactive due to an attack she suffered a few years ago. She can sometimes be stubborn and slow to get walking so may need encouragement along the way. Due to these reasons we are looking for someone who is very comfortable and confident with dogs themselves, and is willing to be patient with Checkers on her walks. Checkers is a very food motivated dog.

She can be left alone in the house for up to 6-8 hours at a time, but preferably not consistently every day.

Groceries and other shopping is readily available at Marrickville Metro. Many breweries, pubs, cafes, and restaurants are also within walking distance, as well as Sydney Park.
