About this house sitting position in Tintenbar

We live on 5 acres in Tintenbar. We are looking for a house-sitter to look after the property and animals while we are on holiday. The house is newly renovated and quite comfortable.

There is a master bedroom with king bed and ensuite, and a kids bedroom with bunk bed. Tenants live on the property in a separate house. Killen falls is walkable from the house.

Animals:
- 1 small dog (mini schnauzer)
- chooks

Responsibilities include:
- hanging out with the mini schnauzer
- making sure all animals are fed and watered
- making sure birds are safe in the coop at night
- collecting eggs
- feeding fish

You'd need to be around the house for the most part as the dogs can't be left locked inside for too long.

Jon is an exceptional homeowner, incredibly kind, responsive, flexible, and genuinely lovely to deal with. Communication was effortless, and his clear, thoughtful notes covered everything perfectly, including routines, feeding, and any medications, making the sit completely stress-free. I cared for his beautiful dogs Jedi and Jerry, along with fish, ducks, and chickens. All the animals were a joy, and Jedi and Jerry quickly felt like family, gentle, loving dogs who enjoyed walks to Killen Falls and relaxing at the property. The home is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and the location is stunning, less than 10 minutes from Lennox Head Beach, with a warm community and gorgeous surroundings. “The setting of Jons' and Christas' place is absolutely lovely, each day we were visited by the ducks, bantams and guinea fowls all looking for a morning feed. Jerry and Jedi are lovely dogs who are full of love, they loved their walks to the water fall. Mr Mistifallis (the cat) is cuddly, relaxed and friendly. Communication with Jon and Christa was excellent at all times. It was also great to meet the neighbours in such a lovely community. ”
