“We recently completed a 34-day house sit at a truly magnificent property — stunning sunrises and sunsets, a beautifully designed and comfortable home, large expanses of lawn and a wonderfully comfy bed that made every night a treat. Maisie, the dog, is an absolute sweetheart and the eight hens provided eggs every day. Communication with Carol and Chris was clear and consistent, which made managing the house and pets straightforward. The owners also operate a 4 bedroom B&B and during the initial discussions we were made aware that as part of the house sit we were clean and restore the B&B ready for the next guests, for which were paid and to which we agreed. It’s a very busy B&B and the task, was a little more than we had imagined. Nevertheless the property was peaceful and the location is nothing short of stunning. ”
