About this house sitting position in WENTWORTH FALLS

I have a small home in the Blue Mountains close to bushland and 10 mins walk to Wentworth Falls Lake. It's a peaceful place and lots of birds visit from the Wentworth Falls Lake reserve, just over the fence. There is a gate in my back fence providing easy access to the Lake Reserve walking tracks.
Wentworth Falls shopping centre is 5 mins drive away and has a good range of shops and cafes, including two small supermarkets. There are many wonderful bush walks in this area. I have good neighbours who are not noisy.

My companions are two small, energetic, friendly dogs, poodle x, and I would like to find someone who'd be happy to have a Blue Mountains holiday in late June - early July and care for my dogs for approx 3 weeks, while I visit family interstate. (Non smokers, please.)

During the day, the dogs have free run of the kitchen - family room where there's a sofa for them, plus the back yard, accessed by a dog door. They are isolated from the rest of the house by baby gates. At night, they sleep on their beds in the laundry after a "good night" chew treat. They definitely enjoy company and love their walks, but are also fine together at home for a few hours.

It can get cold in the Mountains, but I have a solar system with batteries that powers (among other things) the three reverse cycle air-conditioners, oil filled heater and electric blanket that will keep you warm in the house.

Unfortunately, my dogs, while very friendly and affectionate with people, can be reactive with other dogs. My boy is also very territorial and will wee in the house to stake his claim if other dogs visit, so we will need pet free sitters, thanks. Read more...
