About this house sitting position in WEST HOBART

We have a lovely large, recently-renovated house in West Hobart within walking distance to both the Hobart CBD and North Hobart. We're looking for someone who will not only care for the house but also our two gorgeous dogs who are very sweet and cuddly and much loved.

Firstly, the dogs: they are Chinese Crested (think fluffy poodly-type, not the hairless kind), Juno 6 and Cally 4. Juno is very chilled but Cally is very timid and anxious and requires a truly patient and loving sitter who will establish trust and deal with her gently. They are very sweet-natured and cuddly, and used to having someone around most of the time. There's lots of space in the garden for them to run around, and they love their daily walks. They sleep happily in the kitchen at night, but during the day will hang out with you wherever you happen to be.

The house was recently renovated and has a modern kitchen/dining area overlooking the back deck and garden, brand new bathrooms and laundry. It's full of sunshine and is a very pleasant space to hang out in. There's tv, fast internet, upstairs undercover deck with full-city views, lounge with comfy sofas and electric fire. The house is brick with reverse-cycle air-conditioning, so warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Off-street parking is available. Spare bedroom has a comfy queen bed. Local shops are nearby, and it's a 10-15 minute walk into the Hobart CBD or cafes, restaurants and cinema in North Hobart.

The garden is large with established trees and will require some watering and mowing but it may reward you with fresh vegies (depending on what I plant!) and fruit. The neighbourhood is lovely with a good mixture of families and oldies, and our neighbours are extremely friendly and helpful.
