About this house sitting position in Wondunna Hervey Bay
We live on 5 acres with a dam and some bush and are 10 minutes from major shops and the Hervey Bay foreshore.
We have 5 chooks to care for, 1 retiree and 4 layers.
The guestroom has adjacent bathroom and separate toilet.
Small garden areas and pot plants need watering.
We have an easy to use domestic sized zero turn mower. Familiarity with this style mower advantageous.
There is a variety of visiting wildlife especially native birds including king parrots and pale headed rosellas.

“Elaine and Gary are a friendly couple who have a character home on a semi rural 5 acres. They welcomed us into their home the day before they left to ensure we knew all that needed to be done, primarily caring for five productive chickens and look after a few outdoor plants. We enjoyed our time there, spending time watching the plethora of wildlife from King parrots, rosellas, cockatoos, monitors and a healthy population of kangaroos. Communication was regular and informative and if able we would happily look after their place again.”

It was a pleasure meeting Judy and Christian .We felt very comfortable leaving everything in their hands. We arrived home to find the care devoted to our property was way beyond any reasonable expectations. We were amazed at the amount of effort that they had put in. Our property was in much better condition when we arrived home than when we left. Our five chooks were bright eyed and bushy tailed having been so well cared for. Judy and Christian went to the trouble of providing regular and informative communication. We wish them well and would very much love to have them house sit for us again. P.
