About this house sitting position in Wynnum

Hi! We’re Lesley and Bill, and along with our two girls, Joni and Fredi, we’re off on a big adventure to South Africa. We love art, rugby, and travelling, and we’re looking for someone lovely to look after our humble family home and our big, gorgeous dog, Morticia (Morty for short), for 5 weeks.

We’re a very relaxed household with an eclectic, characterful home and a beautiful yard that’s perfect for entertaining with a pool. It’s a three-bedroom house with a fully decked-out office, including a standing desk, so it’s ideal if you work from home. The main bedroom has its own ensuite, and there’s a kids’ room with bunk beds.

A couple of things to know: our house is on a train line, so if you’re easily bothered by noise, that’s worth considering (though our windows are glazed, which helps). The property is fully fenced with Colorbond, so it’s secure and private.

Morty is a wonderful dog, absolutely adores humans and kids. We’d prefer someone with experience handling big dogs as she is 45 kilos and is a solo dog.

We’re about 1km from the Wynnum foreshore, and we have beautiful neighbours who’ll happily lend a hand if you need anything. Read more...
