Hi there. I'm new to housesitting outside of friends and family. I've just finished 6 weeks in Sydney and currently in Brisbane but keen to explore ideally on the East Coast. I've been a homeowner, landlord and a pet owner myself (dogs, cats, chooks, sheep) so understand the responsibilities of home ownership.

I travel regularly as I have family outside of Australia, so housesitting provides a short term base without long term commitment, along with the opportunity to see a little more of Australia. I'm fairly flexible on locations but I don't have a vehicle. As long as you are accessible by plane, train or bus and there is access to a local store in walking or bus distance I can probably make it work!

Mature, non smoker, quiet, reliable and respectful. I work and study from home, and enjoy nature walks. No problems with wildlife (I've lived in open plan houses in Indonesia where monitor lizards, creepy crawlies, and the odd snake like to visit), and have lived previously on a small property with gardens, pool and small farm animals. Car, motorbike and boat license.

Available from now until June 2023. Depending on the length of the sit, my partner may join me for some of the time but that would be discussed in advance. (He's a business owner and in the travel sector so is away often). Read more...
