I usually only book a few months in advance and short notice is ok.

My journey as a house/pet sitter began many years ago when I started helping out friends and family. Since 2011 I have been house sitting full time in Australia. It is a fantastic way to meet new people and have the opportunity to look after a variety of pets. The only challenge is I fall in love with the pets and have to say goodbye (until next time!).

I am an international development worker and I travel to different countries on short term mostly volunteer assignments (1-3 months). When I am in Australia I work from home on short term business contracts helping out small businesses. House sitting helps me keep my living costs down and this means I able to volunteer my skills overseas from time to time.

Prior to this I worked in the public service in environmental management. I helped businesses with environmental regulation issues and improve their environmental management. Yes I can give you advice on reducing your energy and water costs!

When I am in Australia I work from home. I do this remotely (from my laptop) and therefore spend most of my time at the house and with your pets.

I am very happy to water plants, collect mail, check phone messages, email you with updates/photos and do other duties as agreed.

I am a very experienced animal carer having grown up on a farm and owned pets most of my life. If your pet requires a visit to the veterinarian, beauty salon (!), medication or requires other special care I am capable and experienced in managing this for you.

I have my own transport so my only request is there must be parking (off or on street parking is fine). If I am house sitting interstate (and without a car), I will need access to public transport.
