Hey hey hey! My name's Andrea and l'm the home, pet and plant.minder of your dreams. Independent, capable, experienced. Natural gardener, love animals.
Reader, writer, singer. Did some pretty challenging years self-funding and operating a few small initiatives in East Timor. Now, outside of keeping my aging parents in the lifestyle to which they've grown accustomed, l'm attempting to take things a little easier. My parents are based at Peachester on the Sunshine Coast (Between Beerwah and Maleny) so l do prefer longer minding positions that are within 100k of them. For shorter gigs of one week or less l don't mind if they're further away at all.
I have a long-term partner (Bernard) who manages a coffee farm in Northern Rivers NSW. We're used to our distance relationship but occasionally appreciate some quality time together, so he may sometimes join me on one of my house-minding adventures but rarely for more than a couple of days' stretch due to work commitments.
Not a big drinker nor smoker. More a reading and meditation kinda gal. Good eye for detail and used to the bunking in and out routine as l've been a consistent and reliable house and pet sitter for several friends over the years. I enjoy the experience of exploring new areas and discovering what makes a place special.
