Hi, we’re Abbi and Des, a down-to-earth couple travelling Australia, enjoying slower living, the outdoors, animals and local communities along the way.

We’re currently based in Far North Queensland on our friends Jodie and Sack’s property, FNQ Blooms, a tropical flower farm at the base of Bartle Frere. Life here has given us plenty of hands-on experience with animals, gardening and property care. We help look after dogs, cats, chickens and horses, assist with general upkeep around the property, help in the gardens, and support Airbnb stays when needed.

Abbi is an Art Therapist and is currently pregnant with our first baby, due in July. We're currently in the process of selling our caravan so being able to stay in a house is preferred. Des is a Photographer/Website Designer and YouTube creator behind Outback Lens, where he shares travel, farm life, 4WD, hiking, camping and photography stories from around Australia.

We’re reliable, respectful and practical people who understand the trust involved in leaving your home and pets in someone else’s care. We’re happy with daily animal routines, watering, keeping things tidy, basic maintenance, and making sure your home feels looked after while you’re away.

We’re quiet, tidy, non-party people and always aim to leave a place as good as, or better than, we found it.
