I have been permanently on the road in my Toyota Commuter van for a couple of years. Looking for housesits in Northern NSW and SE Qld for late Nov, then Dec 2025 through to end of Jan 2026. For those months I prefer coastal or with a pool, but will consider anything. Perhaps looking for opportunities further afield after that... I am open to possibilities.
Currently doing a long term house sit on the Sunshine Coast.
I spent 2020 to 2022 volunteering with BlazeAid at Cobargo, assisting fire affected people, primarily by rebuilding fences. After a few months I took on the role of coordinating the camp - the most rewarding (& challenging) thing I have ever done. Since then I have dabbled in a bit of work and Aussie travel, and a year traveling overseas (incl. 2 Caminos, 1200km across Spain and Portugal).
I am a friendly, reliable, super clean and tidy, non-smoking, down to earth person.
I would love the opportunity to look after your home/farm and pets.
I cut my work & residential ties in Coffs Harbour in early 2020 after a 16 year stint managing projects and finances for a community organisation. Prior to that I had a short career as a forester, and have worked as a rouseabout, wool classer, fruit picker and packer, fish gutter(!!), scallop sorter, gardener, nanny, local journalist, summer holiday programme director, bookkeeper and have single handedly raised 2 boys into fine strapping young men. In short, I can turn my hand to anything!!
I have looked after properties and pets and children for many friends and acquaintances over the years. When I lived in NZ for 13 years I also looked after a backpacker hostel for 3 months, and minded small motels and businesses for friends.
I am very practical, and as well as minding your home and pets I can attend to lawn and garden care.
I will only house-sit in non-smoking premises please.
I will care for your pets as if they were my own, but I don't wish to share a bed or bedroom with them. Apologies if this is a deal-breaker for you.
