My husband and I are in our 60s, retired, fit and healthy and enjoy travelling. We are based in the UK, but regularly visit Australia for up to four months (usually between November to early March). Our daughter, husband and two sons currently live in Petersham, Sydney. We are both animal lovers (especially dogs) and have owned dogs in the past, but due to our lifestyle we are currently unable to have any pets; therefore looking after other people’s pets is the next best thing. At home we regularly walk our neighbours dog and look after a friend’s dog when they are away. We pride ourselves on our honesty, loyalty and respect for others, and guarantee that we will treat your pets and home exactly as we would like others to treat ours. My husband is a retired GP and most of my working life was spent in schools, hospitals or GP surgeries and in order to work in these areas, it is essential to pass mandatory police clearance checks. We are happy to provide references from the UK, as although we have not done much pet sitting in Australia., we have done some in the UK.
