Ever since I can remember, I've believed that dogs are simply the most amazing creatures on the planet. I've had a special connection with them since I was little. I can feel what they're feeling and understand their needs. Taking care of dogs isn't just a job for me; it's more like a calling.
Back in Argentina, I jumped into the adventure of being a homestay dog caregiver in 2019, and I've had the pleasure of looking after more than 30 dogs, many of them becoming repeat visitors. To give them all the love and attention they deserve, I decided to limit the number to a maximum of three dogs at a time. Most of them I shared my bed with.
The trust and satisfaction of the dogs' owners have been my greatest rewards. I've received glowing feedback and heartfelt recommendations, which I'm more than happy to share. I've also undertaken studies in ethology and canine education, guided by a psychologist specializing in dog behavior in Argentina.
I became a psychologist in 2022 before heading to Australia to embark on a journey of exploration and adventure. Me and my partner lived 6 months in Sydney, 1 in Byron Bay housesitting and taking care of two cute chihuahuas, the chooks and the veggie garden. In April 2023 we moved to Boonah, QLD, where we took a housesitting for two months in the magical Lake Moogerah caring for an amazing Aussie Shepard and the plants. There we found job as support workers and one of our clients was a lady with more than 30 horses and ponies, and we assisted her with the feeding, besides having fun with her dogs, cats, sheeps, chooks and gooses. Also I often volunteered at Iron Bark Dog Park, joining the dogs on the dog bus and playing with and training them at the dog park. The happiest job I´ve ever had the pleasure to find.
We are friendly, responsible, healthy, tidy, and got great intuition. We’re all about embracing new experiences, immersing in nature, music, playing sports, trying out new dishes, and, of course, meeting new people.
Most importantly, we are strong believers in the positive impact that animals can have on our well-being.
