Hello, I'm Martine, and for most of 2016 my husband Sven and I have been travelling Australia with our 10 year old twins, Azzy and Ollow who are home schooling while we travel. Over summer we've stored our caravan while we do some house sitting assignments.

At the moment we're location independent, which leaves us flexible and able to travel and look after your beloved animals, garden and possessions. We're professionals in our late 40's, never smoked, and can supply good rental, character and work references. The kids can also provide references from previous dog walking experiences (see photos of Mooey, Ginger and Rosie, dogs they used to walk for a neighbour in Canberra).

As animal lovers, one thing we miss regularly while travelling is the companionship they bring. We miss walks, playing and cuddling pets and we believe that they are much happier when cared for in their home. While we've enjoyed living in and caring for our new caravan while on the road, we do miss living in a house and love to unwind on a proper couch from time to time.

We are a house-proud family, originally home owners in Glen Waverley in Melbourne. After moving for Canberra for work, we rented a home for 2.5yrs and can provide good references. The kids have been taught from an early age to show respect and look after their things and have excellent manners.

My husband and I have been pet owners from an early age, between us having had blue heelers, rottweilers and rescue dogs as well as siamese, burmese cats and tonkinese kittens. Growing up on 35 acres, I've had experience with horses, cows, chooks, geese, and even pythons, mice, axolotls, and turtles. My first job was as a vet assistant at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. The kids are animal crazy and have spent the year feed joeys, meeting other people's pets on the road, and they even swam with seal lion pups and whale sharks this year!

We also love gardening and are happy to water plants and maintain your garden just the way you want it.

While you are away we're happy to send you daily texts & photos from your pet so you can see how much love they are getting from our family!

We are amateur photographers and can take lovely pictures of your pet at no charge if you wish.

Through our work and volunteer roles we have undergone government, police and working with children security checks and can supply details on request.
