MY EXPERIENCE

I have personally always had dogs and cats. On top of this I would always look after family and friends pets when they were on holiday.

I have also volunteered at pet shelters in the past and plan on doing so again in the future.

I've looked after multiple friends and families homes in the UK whilst they were away also.

Dog breeds I had throughout my life;

Collie (Tiger-Lily), Staffy (Stella), German Shepherds (Shikoba and Penny), Labrador retriever (Bella), Patterdale terriers (Chester and Riley-Roux), Spaniel/Collie cross (Bouncer and Buster).

I've had puppies and older dogs (one was diabetic and blind and I had to inject him with insulin twice a day).

The cats I've had were no specific breed, just your lovely tabby-esque cats (Tigger, Rebel, Lucky, and Tabitha).

ABOUT ME

Hey,

I'm Luke and I'm a very responsible 37 year old Digital Nomad. I'm a recruitment director helping move Brits, Aussies, and Irish people to the US and Canada. I work remotely and to US hours but only 3 days a week, therefore I will have more time to make sure your pets are well watered, fed, and exercised. And of course give them all the love they need.

I'm from the UK but have been travelling the world for the last 2.5 years with my partner and little dog, Riley who has now been to 23 countries. I'm on 46 and hoping to keep growing that number.

I recently had a break up and we are now sharing 'custody' of Riley. My ex will be having her for 6 months in Vietnam whilst I travel to countries that it is difficult to take her to. Then we will switch back. Odd sounding I know?! But it works for us.

It will be difficult to be without my furry friend, therefore I decided to give this site a whirl so I can experience new places and make new 4 legged buddies.

I've had dogs all my life and also cats when I was younger. I love nothing more than going for long walks with my dog and cuddling at night with her watching TV.

I'm not sure what else I should tell you but if you have any questions at all, please ask me anything!

WHY I WANT TO HOUSE SIT

I will miss having a companion whilst travelling to new cities and countries so I would love to be able to take a dog out with me whilst exploring.

I also love cuddling up with all the fur babies on the settee at night.

Having lived out of a suitcase for the last 2.5 years and often travelling to a new place every week or 2 I am looking for longer sits where I can experience new surroundings, cultures and meet great new friends along the way.

I am a homeowner and know how much hard work and effort I had to put in to make my own place (that I rent out) perfect so I will treat your house as my own and make sure it is spic and span.

I also love gardening, plants, and cooking so if you've got anything that needs doing in the garden, or some plants that need tending to, I'm more than happy for the extra responsibility.
