Hi there, I'm Shannon. I'm an animal lover, professional house and pet-sitter. I'm based in Melbourne and currently live in the south-east.

?✨I am going away overseas mid-April to mid-May, then awaiting buying a new car, so I'm not taking on any new sits just now. I may be back in action from November.

?I provide loving, reliable pet care that's much more personal (and affordable!) than a kennel or pet boarding place.

I have been house sitting and pet sitting for 15 + years at various residences for friends and acquaintances and I absolutely love animals! I am 100 % reliable and responsible, tidy and mature plus super experienced with looking after people's homes and animals.

I have completed around 60 house sits and now offer a professional service, ensuring your pets feel safe and loved while you're away.

Currently I work from home several days a week in the legal sector, so I need access to good Wifi. Ialso teach yoga one or two nights a week and run a weekend kids' party business. So while I'm busy, I always make time for plenty of play and cuddles!

✨?WHAT'S INCLUDED?

*Feeding and general care, plus any required medication
*Daily walks for dogs (1 hour or 2 x 30 minute walks)
*Playtime (at least an hour per day, maybe more, depending on my schedule)
*home security and plant care
*mail collection and light cleaning before you return
*any emergency animal care (hopefully not required)

RATES

*$40 a night for one dog and $20 for one cat
*$30 per extra dog/$10 per extra cat
Discounts for stays of above 14 days

LOCATION - Victoria only (unless you are happy to pay for my flights to NSW!) and primarily south-east, bayside and Dandenong Ranges. I teach yoga in Rowville so usually take on sits that are close by or further only if extra special location.

????TYPES OF PETS
Mainly just dogs and cats, though chickens, rabbits, birds are fine.
I prefer small to medium size dogs (including and especially labs), and friendly, toilet-trained cats.

BED TIME
I am okay with pets sleeping on my bed, but it's ideal if they have their own space too. If they're really cute they will usually end up in my bed if they're allowed! Sometimes cat hair gets a bit much, though so having their own bed is great.

Most of my pet-sitting work is now repeat clients, referrals and family friends, organized privately, though occasionally through this site and on a paid website. I am happy to chat and see if we're a good fit - we can also arrange a meet and greet (Melbourne only!)

INTERNAL SECURITY CAMERAS
**Important! Please inform me if you have internal security cameras in main living spaces. I don't like being privately filmed without knowing and I consider it a breach of privacy.

It's also important to communicate any potential big issues with a sitter that may seriously impact their stay, out of common sense and respect.

Police check and WWC available. You can also call my previous references.
