Annette and David are very fit and non smoking couple in their 70's. David is a retired Veterinary Surgeon and a very competent handyman and gardener. He is heavily into Radio Controlled model aircraft. He has served as Secretary on the Residents Committee in the Retirement Village where they live.
Annette knits, designs and makes quilts. She was always a Veterinary Nurse in David's small and large animal Practice. In the summers of 2021 and '22 David worked on the grain harvest in Central NSW, driving machinery, helping fill the worker shortage at the time.
For a time they owned and operated a rice, wheat, sheep and angora goat farm in the Riverina. Much later, on retiring they owner-built a steel framed 4 bedroom home on a small country acreage. David has also fitted out 2 mobile homes during this time.
Over the years they have minded a variety of houses and animals, in Oz, Norfolk Island and Canada, the latter involved caring for 5 children from 2 families while the parents enjoyed 4 weeks holiday.
They used to breed Burmese cats, but not having any pets at present they would love to look after your animals, house and garden. They are very reliable and from their wide experience would be able to handle most if not all situations that may arise during your time away from home.
