Hi, my name is Ashleigh Knight, I am single, non smoker, I am a shift worker (Train Driver) and love all furry animals. On average I work 25-30hrs a week and so can be around to spend quality time with your pets and ensure that your home is well looked after.

Up until a few years ago I have been a dog owner my whole life, I really miss the company of having a pet however as I like to travel (which is why I have chosen to not have a permanent residence) it is much easier for me to not have the responsibility of my own pet. By surrounding myself with friends and family who are pet owners and by taking up housesitting opportunities where I get to look after other peoples pets I feel i get the best of both worlds.

I also volunteer on a weekly basis to through the Boroondara Council to walk a resident's dog for her as she is unable to do so herself. I have been walking Jazzy (pictured in profile photo) for 4yrs now and its honestly my favourite time of the week. I definitely get just as much out of the time spent with her each week as she does from me walking her.
