Hi there! Thanks for the interest in my profile.

My name is Ben. I am a reliable, responsible, clean, easy-going 43 year old male from Melbourne's Yarra Valley region. I'm a life-long lover of animals and have grown up with them all my life. Dogs have been a major component to normal life until recently as my nomadic work does not allow for such a commitment.

Prior to covid hitting, I finished working with Melbourne Zoo to pursue a career as a Tour Director / Tour Guide. Its a great job although I can travel up to 3 weeks at a time. This then leaves me with 3-4 weeks off where I work casually in Yarra Valley region outside of Melbourne.

A friend has referred me to 'Mindahome' as he thinks my love of animals, my connection with pets and my experience in house sitting for friends and family would be mutually beneficial if I were to join up. So here I am!

I have looked after dogs, cats, chickens, fish, rats, reptiles, guinea pigs, cows, horses and even an axolotl. I am also happy to help out with any jobs around the house aka gardening, maintenance (if any) of your property while you are away and would treat it like it were my own.

I have a recent police check and can happily offer references should you request them given I am a new member of mindahome.

I am more than happy to talk and discuss any house sits prior to being confirmed to ensure I am the right person to be looking after your much loved pets and home.
