More information about this house sitter
We are a quiet, responsible, dependable, and caring retired couple, formerly an ornamental fish farmer and a language teacher.
For the past 9 years we have loved living in the seaside community of South West Rocks, in NSW, with 7 of those years spent in the same rental property. Here we have been able to enjoy producing and selling our creative endeavours: bird drawings and some crafts for Brian and crocheted and other items for Judy. However, after having spent our first 24 years in Queensland (after emigrating from South Africa), we now feel it is time to return to the warmer climate of Queensland, where we also have family.
Our intention is to find a permanent home on the Atherton Tablelands. We undertook a number of house sits in 2011/2012, during which time we looked after some wonderful animals: cats, dogs, fish, and on one occasion 6 beautiful horses. Written references for that period are available on request.
