Hi, I'm Greg

I'm nature-loving, young at heart and enjoy the great outdoors, connecting with people and their pets.. Walking is one of my favourite activities and I'd be delighted to give your cat a cuddle when they want to smooch or to take your dog out for daily walks and playtime.

Growing up near Lane Cove National Park, I developed a deep love for nature and animals. I have fond memories of playing with our family dog Gina. I also enjoyed spending time with my cousins and their pooch and grandmas silky terrier, Cedric, and later caring for my sister's adorable dog Bella. I also have some lovely feline friends named Oscar and Tinkerbelle who I care for when my friends are away. More recently I have been house minding with Mac a lovely Burmese boy, then Gizmo a gorgeous tabby, next with Bicky another lovely feline and most recently with Sushi a lovely ginger tabby and Forrest a delightful lad.

As I don't currently have pets of my own, it's been a joy housesitting and bonding with my hosts pets and caring for their plants and gardens. I love the energy of animals, peacefully sleeping one moment and then ready to greet you when you come home, to have some fun at the drop of a hat or a cuddle. They make great companions. So, I will be grateful for the opportunity to be looking after your home, garden and plants and to hang out with your 4-legged friends. I am equally happy to care for your chickens, birds or fish.

I have degrees in education and recreation management and work experience in social work, community development and recreation coordination. I currently work part time as a recreation officer in a community centre in the city and while that customer service position is engaging. I also have a peaceful and quiet demeanour. I'm not into loud music, I'm a non-drinker and non-smoker, and I pride myself on being responsible, reliable, and respectful of others, their property and pets. I also have Reiki energy training so if your pet is aging or recovering from a recent illness. I can assist with their wellbeing. I also have essential oils training with therapeutic grade essential oils so if you have a rescue pet or if your pet has recently been traumatised or is very timid. I can assess which oil when diffused, will best assist them to relax and be more settled.

When I am not housesitting, I currently share house in Coogee and I'm more than happy to provide references to support my application.
