Hi,

Nina and Erik are a professional couple with a deep-rooted love for all animals and pets, with keen green thumbs and a passion for travel and property.

As property owners, we have had our homes sat and our pets looked after many a time, and likewise have undertaken countless house/pet sits across Australia and internationally over the past decade-plus.

We work largely online - Erik as a speciality publisher, coach and branding consultant and Nina as a CFO with a speciality freight company. Hence we are pretty flexible to undertake house/pet sits.

We are non-smokers, reliable mid-lifers with grown-up adult children and family living spread out, so we love travelling to different locations (known and unknown places) mainly along the Eastern coastline, but not limited to that as we love to get (fly) away...

Erik has also had extensive farm experience with cows, sheep, horses, and has sat pets ranging from the usual cats and dogs to hamsters, frogs, fish, parrots, guinea pigs, reptiles, chickens and more... and is good with maintenance, repair work and garden maintenance. While Nina is more of a domestic pet lover at heart.

Erik is also a published (bestselling) writer, so staying in different places, houses and environments spark his creativity...

We have undertaken sits across city, suburban, regional and rural areas across 4 states - many of them repeat sits - through various avenues, house sitting sites, social media and through word of mouth, with ample references and recommendations available.

We also have a camper van which we can stay in if required.

While we mainly take sits between the Fraser Coast and the Northern Rivers of NSW - we are always open to exploring places elsewhere or even flying to other cities around the country...

We have even done house sits in Europe, Bali and New Zealand...

As homeowners and hosts, we know both sides of the fence so to speak and always go over-and-above with our sits - treating them as we would our own and how we want our home and pets be treated. We have owned pets from cats and dogs to rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and parrots, so we are fine to look after your pets, be they two, four or no-legged, feathered, scaled, furry or otherwise...

We are happy to do video calls so you get to know us a bit before the sit... We look forward to hearing from you soon...

Erik and his partner housesat for us for 4 weeks in June 2022. They cared for two dogs, aged 13 and 16 and 10 chickens. We were very impressed with their care of our dogs, both who required vet treatment and one dental surgery whilst we were away. They were very reliable and trustworthy. Our house was spotless when we returned and beautiful flowers and chocolate left for us. We would highly recommend them as housesitters.

Erik was the perfect housesitter (unfortunately his partner was unable to come with him this time), He came to housesit for us at very short notice...he saved the day!! Millie and Theo were very happy and relaxed when we arrived home. Erik left the house just the way he found it.....very neat, clean and tidy. We would definitely have Erik to housesit for us again.

Eric was a great Housesitter. It was very short notice on my part but he was very amenable. He communicated with us well prior to the house sit and updated me on my cat during the house sit.
