More information about this house sitter

We have house/pet sits organised for this year for which we are very grateful.

We will be looking for sits in SA from early April to mid August 2026. Thanks :)

As you can see we are an older couple, fit, healthy and happily able to adapt to most circumstances. Whilst taking our responsibilities seriously we also love a laugh!

We have successfully and satisfyingly house and pet sat in Qld, NSW, WA, SA, England and California, mostly through word of mouth. We are keen gardeners and mowing is not a problem. We have looked after our own and others pools.

We also do home exchanges so we are well aware of how we would like our own home treated and, therefore, how to look after others' precious things. We have excellent reviews from these special times.

In particular, we are pet lovers, especially dogs. We have owned our own which we miss very much but receive a lot of enjoyment from our friends' and others' pets.

Over the last couple of years we have been volunteering on country properties affected by drought and/or flood, with a wide variety of duties and animal care.

Through the volunteering work that we do with our local museum, we both have current Blue Cards and, having owned a Post Office in the past, had clean police checks.

Now, after our extensive overseas travel we are looking to spend more time re-acquainting with, and seeing new, all the wonderful places in Australia.

Our home base is Hervey Bay but we love travelling and are more than happy to do so.
