More information about this house sitter

As you can see we are an older couple, fit, healthy and happily able to adapt to most circumstances.

We are pet lovers, particularly dogs. We have owned our own which we miss very much but receive a lot of enjoyment from our friends' and others' pets.

We have successfully and satisfyingly house sat and cared for pets in WA, NSW, Qld, England and Los Angeles, either through other sites and/or word of mouth.

We also belong to a home exchange program from which we have excellent reviews. Recently, we have been volunteering on country properties affected by drought and/or flood, with a wide variety of duties and animal care.

Through the volunteering work that we do with our local museum, we both have current blue cards.

Now, our extensive overseas travel is slowing down and we are looking at spending more time re-acquainting with all the wonderful places in Australia. Our home base is Hervey Bay. We have a fully self-contained caravan.

We are house and garden proud, happy to water plants and have cared for our own and others' pools. We are aware of pets' needs and requirements and greatly enjoy spending time with them.
