Hello!

We would like to introduce ourselves in order to be considered for your house and dog sit.

We are a mature but young at heart couple (60 & 58 years old, non smokers) and having recently retired we are now in the fortunate position that we can explore and experience more that this country has to offer. We spent 3 years in the UK for Paul’s job which we thoroughly enjoyed and after nursing our adored cocker spaniel through cancer (sadly losing her late 2016) we then started to offer dog sitting and doggy daycare which we absolutely loved. As avid dog lovers it was so lovely to have regular fur babies come to stay and we built up some lovely friendships with the owners and were so lucky to have many repeat bookings with spaniels, cockerpoos, retrievers, border terriers and retired greyhounds to name but a few of the many varied breeds we looked after. All were treated as our own with lots of walks, play times, cuddles on the sofa and of course plentiful tummy rubs. Sally registered with We Love Pets so was a fully accredited and council vetted dog sitter and also completed dog first aid training courses so the owners could go away on holiday knowing their four legged family member was in very safe and loving hands and we kept in touch with regular photos, video clips and messages whilst they were away. When we returned to Australia we continued to offer dog sitting in our own home and also house & dog sitting.

Paul has just completed a 90 mile walk through Cumbria UK, so he is happy to do any extended walking that may be required of your pet and we follow your required routine for feeding, walking, play time and of course cuddles. We are also quite comfortable for your pet to sleep in our room if that is their usual routine as we know it is paramount for them to be happy and relaxed with us a quickly as possible.

We pride ourselves on our high standards of house keeping and received fabulous feedback when recently selling our family home on its immaculate presentation and cleanliness ( it was too big for us once the kids had flown the nest so we decided to downsize) and can send you a link to the listing so you can see the caliber of home we had and how well it was maintained and those same standards would be applied to your home during our stay. We are fully conversant with pool, solar & reticulation maintenance along with lawn mowing and looking after garden beds and vegetable patches.

We return to Perth from our UK holiday on 14th September in time for our sons wedding so are available for sits after that date and are contactable in the meantime on Facebook messenger, WhatsApp or Zoom if you feel we could be suitable for your house sit and care of your dog and would like to have a video chat. We can also supply references for previous dog sits so you can book us with confidence.
