We are a semi retired couple. My husband is a Carpenter and I am an artist. We also have a hosted airbnb in Margaret River. We have 5* reviews, so we are used to keeping a place clean, tidy and look after gardens. We have a well rounded past work history from hospitality, retail, swim teaching and building to name a few.
We have done many house swaps before, but not as many house sits, although we have volunteered to look after quite remote locations in Australia on past occasions.
We do care for families pets and properties when needed.
We are ideally looking for places near family so we can visit grandchildren.
As an artist we are also open to other places that may inspire creativity.
My husband is a carpenter, so if you are needing any maintenance jobs done while you are away, this may also be an option after discussion.
We would definitely be open to meeting prior to a house sit if possible. We have used house sitters ourselves for our own property in the past, and have found that if it is a long stay we prefer to meet beforehand.
