We are a retired couple and are travelling in WA in our caravan.
We were both professionals in our careers, Carol as a logistics/supply chain manager, having held her pre-retirement position for 12 years, and Graham as a civil engineer/project manager in transport infrastructure, holding the same role for 13 years pre- retirement.
We have 5 adult children and four grandchildren.
We still own our home in Taree in which we have housesitters. Thus we are acutely aware of the importance of maintaining and caring for the property in which they have been entrusted.
Graham can carry out most "handyman" type repairs with the exception of electrical and gas work. We are both active and capable of undertaking all normal maintenance requirements on a property.
We have owned pets over the years our children have been growing up; dogs of various sizes, cats, fish, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and turtles (a veritable menagerie!!)
We are honest, trustworthy and well respected amongst our peers, ex-work colleagues and previous house sit owners.
We are non smokers and are not travelling with any pets.

“We recently engaged Carol & Graham to house sit our property and care for our animals, initially we were quite cautious as this was the first time we had used sitters.

We live on a large(ish) block of land (1ha) with an array of animals including a dog, chickens and guinea pigs.

We had the pleasure of meeting Carol and Graham approximately a month before our holiday, where we showed them around the property and perhaps more importantly introduced them to the animals.

During this meeting any concerns we held about the process were extinguished, Carol and Graham were very friendly and engaged with the animals immediately.

Carol and Graham arrived just prior to the agreed time on the day of our departure, where we ran through the specific requirements of the animals and provided a tour of the house etc, again any concern was well and truly laid to rest.

We received numerous messages during our holiday, providing updates on the animals and their activities, this was appreciated.

On our return home, the kids commented that they didn't know the house could shine, it was spotless, inside and out.

The lawns were mowed, animals cleaned and even the car washed in our absence.

Our neighbors commented that Carol and Graham were quiet and noted they had walked the dog daily.

I even suspect that the garage had been washed and locks lubricated.

Basic essentials (milk / bread etc) were awaiting us on our return, meaning we did not have to race out to the shops, additionally a box of chocolates was left on the bench.

We would have no hesitation in using mindahome again, although Carol and Graham have set the bar pretty high.

More importantly we would have no hesitation in recommending Carol and Graham for any future house sits.
