John and I returned 'home' to Australia in July '19( after living in Vietnam for the past 8 years) I am 56 years old and I've been teaching 5-8 year olds in International Schools since 1994. John is a 60 yr old semi-retired artist, keen golfer and ex-coffee farmer. We are taking a 'gap year' ( or two) and enjoy exploring our home country! We own a holiday rental unit in Cabarita beach, Northern NSW that we occupy for part of the year. We also own a little AirBnb cottage in Tasmania. We are animal lovers yet at this time we cannot have our own pets- so we're happy to take care of yours! Since joining Mindahome, we have had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, horses, birds , rabbits and guinea pigs!
We are very conscious of COVID and prefer to only stay in quiet, less populated places. Our daily routine is : Early to bed, early to rise, start the day with a morning walk. John loves to cook, paint, read and play golf. I love beach walks, and photography. I teach English online a few hours a week.
