My husband is 59 and has a quiet and kind nature. Loves his AFL and fishing. Roofer/plumber by trade and now runs his own small lawn maintenance and handyman business called Odd Job Charlie.
I’m 57 and the more outgoing of the two of us. I love fishing just as much as Charlie. I run our family ATM business from home or wherever we are travelling. I am also a casual self employed NDIS support worker. I grew up on 4000 acre sheep and cattle property. We are both experienced with horses, chooks, dogs, cats, Guinea pigs and birds.
We have been travelling Australia and doing some Housesits for nearly three years and both have a BlueCard, Housesit and Personal referees available on request.
We have based ourselves at my nephews place in Port Macquarie. We have a large caravan and if we are required to bring it we’d like access to power, water hook up and a toilet. In exchange we can housesit or help you around the place. If there is any casual employment in the area that you know of, that would be a bonus. We do love our fishing. We have a house in Redland Bay Brisbane which we are considering selling to relocate somewhere quieter on the coast. Doing these Housesit’s gives us the ability to explore various communities.
