We’re Claire and Michael, a couple who have recently moved back from living in the UK for 5 years!

ABOUT US:
Claire: I am from Australia and moved over to the UK to travel in 2019, where I met Michael and stayed living until November 2024. I am a Social Worker and a Child and Adolescent Therapist and in the UK ran my own private therapy business and was also employed as a Neurodevelopmental Specialist, assessing and diagnosing neurodevelopmental differences. I am loving being back in Australia and excited to share and show this beautiful country to my partner Michael.

Michael: I’m from England, however was originally born in Swaziland and moved back to the UK when I was 5 years of age. I was raised in a town north of London, before moving to Nottingham for University, then Glasgow to complete my Masters Degree. I moved to London in my mid 20’s where I met Claire in 2019. I am a Product Manager and recently left my job as a Specialist Product Manager at Samsung in London to relocate to Australia and settle here. Both Claire and I are so excited to travel and see Australia and share the company of pets and animals on our way.

PET CARE EXPERIENCE:
Claire: I have had pets my whole life and love the furry additions to a family! Growing up I had a cat and a Pomeranian dog. Early in my 20’s I had a large labradoodle called Sully and a toy poodle called Mac.
When I moved to the UK in 2019 I travelled around the UK completing housesits looking after cats and dogs of all different sizes, ages and care requirements. These sits ranged from 4 days- 3 weeks.
I have cared, and feel comfortable, caring for all cats and dogs of big and small size. I would love and care for your beautiful pets as they were my own.

Michael: As a young child I had 2 Huskies and 1 German Shepard. Throughout my adolescence and early 20’s I had a Golden Retriever, Labrador and cocker spaniel. When Claire was house and pet sitting throughout the UK I would regularly join her and care for the pets alongside her. I love pets and Claire and I cannot wait to get some pets of our own when we settle. Read more...
