I am an extremely active, non-smoking 27-year-old who has recently relocated from Adelaide to be closer to family- my sister is in Geelong and my parents are down the Great Ocean Road. I am a fully-registered teacher (South Australia) and thus have Working With Children Checks, Police Clearances, First Aid. Happy to provide a copy of these documents or of my resume.

As I am new to Geelong, I am looking at doing some house-sitting to familiarise myself with different suburbs/ areas whilst I transfer my teachers registration and apply for jobs for 2024.

I am an incredibly respectful and conscientious house-sitter and always leave a space neater and cleaner than how I found it. I am very careful not to damage anything, my parents have always had Air BnB's so I have seen the plethora of ways guests can cause damage and am always mindful to not do the same!

I am an animal-lover and have grown up around dogs in particular, but also lived with cats in rentals as an adult and house-sat for chickens.

I run 20-40kms a week and walk daily, so would be more than happy for the company from a pet if you have one that needs walking. I've just finished a four-month Europe trip so am enjoying getting back into a balanced routine with lots of reading, cooking, exercise, beach trips and quiet nights.

I've been lucky enough to have been house- and chicken-sitting in Hamlyn Heights (Geelong) for the whole of September and am hoping to acquire some house-sitting experiences for the rest of the year. I have other experience house-sitting for friends or acquaintances and would be happy to provide references. Read more...
