We are a fun-loving, dependable, kind and warmhearted happily married couple who have been together for 30 years. Leah 52 and Declan 58.

We have been travelling the world extensively as digital nomads, running businesses from where ever we are in the world.

We both hold full and clean Australian driving licenses.

We are both non-smokers, health and fitness buffs.

We have been carrying out house and pet sits through friends, word-of-mouth and Mindahome since 2021. We have an active Airbnb account, and have received excellent reviews as both hosts and guests over the past 10 years. Our main residence in Sydney is currently tenanted which has encouraged us to continue house sitting here in Australia.

Being on the road and travelling so much does not allow us to have a pet of our own, which is why house/pet sitting appeals to us so much. It gives us the opportunity to be around your pets and enjoy that sort of relationship with animals which is so important as a human being. Both sharing each other’s company in harmony. A very natural state.

We are founding shareholders in a trust fund that builds homes for severely disabled people who need 24/7 care, under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS); Something we are very passionate about.

We are both home owners and property investors in Australia and abroad, specialising in home improvements and interior refurbishment.

We both continue to work. Leah being an English tutor to foreign students and Declan as an investor and developer.

We love walking, gym, yoga, beach and sea swimming. We can provide plenty of walks and fresh air with your pets! Our evenings are mainly spent relaxing with a movie or music, reading, online working and cooking - giving us plenty of time to pamper your pets. That’s a win for your pets and a win for us.

Being our own bosses gives us the freedom to concentrate on providing your pets with a safe and loving environment whilst you are away and time to keep your home clean and tidy.

Please let us know if you require any small jobs at home as Declan carries a current contractor licence in the construction industry, and can also offer discounts for building maintenance services.
