Hello I’m David or Dave

I am fully retired, a widower (my wife passed away 2.5 years ago) and I love to travel this great country and overseas.

I have grown up children and 7 grandchildren. I live in Dickson ACT.

Started house sitting in early 2022. My wife and I did our first house sit on 30 June 2022, while owners were o/seas - (see feedback). Then my wife succumbed to cancer and sadly passed away.

I love animals (having had many dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, chooks, fish, bees, the menagerie). I am an avid walker and happy to take your dog for walks if that is their routine.

I grew up on a farm in my younger years and am familiar with animal husbandry and the care of animals.

We had our own hobby farm in Bowning NSW where we went for weekends and during the week that had alpacas, bore goats and mixed poultry and a 100 mixed fruit tree orchard and bees.

I am a quiet person, but like a chat, non smoking and will take excellent care of your home, garden and pets and animals. I take great pride in keeping a home clean and tidy like my own home.

I am a keen gardener, vege grower, a bonsai enthusiast, walking, reading and bike riding. I am very involved in my adult children’s and 7 grandchildren’s lives.
