Hi, Tony and I are both semi-retired, having worked in schools for almost 20 years. We love to travel and have been house-sitting for quite a few years now, it gives us the chance to explore new places at leisure, at the local level and makes travel more affordable. Now that we are pet-less, housesitting also gives us the enjoyment that only pets can give. We come from North Queensland and our daughter lives in Brisbane so we love to travel down that way regularly to visit her and other family and friends around Australia. At home, we have our own garden and pool so know how to keep them clean and operating well, we also have a country property with a rainwater tank and waste water treatment system so we understand the importance of water conservation. We have lovely reviews from Mindahome pet-owners and several from others we have done elsewhere (see attached). We are responsible, clean, tidy and non-smokers and you can be reassured that we will lovingly look after your home and pets as if they are our own. In our uncertain times, we all have to help each other and we find being flexible and keeping our sense of humour goes a long way to squeezing happiness out of every day.
