Hi, we are Doug and Malini, both aged 61 and recently retired. Doug worked as an IT consultant and Project Manager and Malini was a corporate lawyer. We have three adult kids.

We own our own home in Wahroonga (Sydney's North Shore), but 18 months ago we rented it out and went overseas to fulfil our retirement dream. We bought a sailing boat in Croatia, and have spent the last year and a half cruising through the Mediterranean. We have sailed through Greece, Turkey, Italy, Tunisia and Spain, and spent the winter in Montenegro, but we are not finished and there is still so much more to see.

However we need to spend six months back in Australia to complete Doug's citizenship application. As our home is still occupied by tenants, we are looking to solve our accommodation needs through house sitting.

Our location and dates are flexible, and we have no commitments to go to work or to travel.

We are clean and tidy, quiet, and non-smokers. We have a great sense of responsibility, as is required to navigate and maintain a sailing yacht. We have a lot of experience of staying in Airbnb's, as well as hosting guests in our own home, and our reviews are 100% positive (we'd be happy to send you the link).

We both love dogs. Doug grew up with a cocker spaniel, a German shepherd and a labrador-something dog found abandoned. Malini also grew up with dogs, and raised a loving family pet, a black labrador, until he sadly died aged 13 a few years ago. While we don't have a pet of our own in Wahroonga due to our travel, we regularly look after and walk our neighbour's springer.
