Hello! I'm Ellen, a third year PhD student. I grew up on Sydney Northern Beaches, but have lived in different areas including the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. I spent 2 years in the Northern Rivers of NSW and have spent the last 12 months living in the Netherlands as part of a research placement.
I'm a part time sessional academic - teaching undergraduate courses. And when my head isn't in the books, I like to go for swims or a surf, and exercise to take my mind off writing a thesis.
I've always grown up with pets including dogs and cats. And I've constantly housesat/petsat for dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. I'm confident in being able to care for your animals, to give medications if necessary, walk them and of course love and play with them.
I'm new to Mind a Home and looking forward to meeting you and your pets :) I enjoy getting to know them, working with animals and it also helps me focus some more on my studies. So your pets are also helping me!
