Hi There!

My name is Poppy and I have a genuine passion for animals which is why I am so interested in house sitting around Melbourne. I live quite an active lifestyle, I love going for walks with a coffee in my hand! I'm a non-smoker and have house sit for several families who wanted someone to have their animals' best interest at heart. My partner works full time as a Crane Driver at his base in the CBD- he isn't home much as he works long hours. I have my own 10 year old Shetland Sheepdog who is a retired show dog and is fully house-trained who comes along with me to the houses that I look after. She gets along with all dogs and comes to work with me everyday so she wouldn't be left at your house.

I work as an animal attendant part-time at a dog daycare in the Bayside area which I hope will keep your mind at ease that your pets will be absolutely loved and cared for like they are my own. I can even help you with any specific training you wanted to focus on with your dogs. I am comfortable administrating medication if your pet has special needs, keeping up with their flea/worm treatment routine and basic grooming requirements. The rest of my time is spent studying Health Science as I'm working towards becoming a Exercise Physiologist and working with the RSPCA as their Victorian Ambassador public speaking at animal-related events and seminars.

I am a very clean and tidy person. I'm extremely organised, a bit of a perfectionist and considerate of other's belongings. If you wanted to meet beforehand I would be more than happy to! Read more...
