Hi there! We are a mature, responsible semi-retired couple who are used to living in and caring for our own place. We have owned and lived in many properties and understand the importance of caring for your home as if it was our own.

My wife and I both love animals, especially dogs, are house proud, meticulously tidy and really don't want to live within the confines of a small, uninteresting and sterile two BR apartment while we are in Melbourne catching up with kids and grandkids, so house or unit sitting in a homely environment appeals to us. We'll be in Melbourne for the summer, so a house and pet sit of less than six weeks is not a fit for us. In fact, the longer the better.

Exercising your pooch, cleaning the pool or watering a few plants is not a problem and we would be prepared to make a reasonable contribution towards gas and electricity if required.

We have had some past house sitting experience and will be able to provide glowing references and of course squeaky-clean police checks. And FYI, we are both non smokers.

Our preferred locale is SE and Bayside suburbs of Melbourne down to the Mornington Peninsula.
