Hi, my name is Meg. I am interested in longer term house sits (preferably 2 weeks +) on properties in regional NSW (ie not in Sydney!).
I am a professional person, currently working part time as a scientific technical officer with a university (work from home). I am also currently attempting some further study via distance education, and would love to find positions that allow me to be relatively stable for longer periods while I complete my study. This means I would be based at home most days, keep your pets company, and can keep a thorough eye on things!
I have a strong background in agriculture and horticulture, having lived and worked on farms my whole life. I previously worked for many years in plant nurseries and agricultural research, and was responsible for the care of all manner of animals and plants in my position at a school. I would be more than capable of maintaining any gardens required, or animals that need caring for, having experience with dogs, birds, fish, chickens, rabbits, horses, sheep, cattle, and wildlife care, among others.
I am a quiet, reliable person, non drinker, non smoker, no parties or noise. I am neat, clean and tidy and will take very good care of your home. I am very house proud, having owned my own home previously, and will leave your home in excellent shape. I am a good communicator and am happy to send you updates while you are away, on how things are going back home! I have plenty of previous experience house sitting and can provide references if required.
NOTE: I do have 1 dog who I need to be accommodated with me. She is a black Lab X, very well behaved around livestock, other dogs and wildlife, having been raised and trained on farms. However she is incompatible with cats - I cannot accept house sits with cats!
