We are a family of 4 born Mexicans living in Australia since 2013; we are now Australian Citizens.
We used to live a pretty ordinary life until Cvid came and find ourselves reevaluating our situation while stuck in Melbourne… taking advantage of the opportunity of working remotely and traveling across Australia since 2021.
Back then we homeschooled our 2 kids (age 15 and 12 now). We normally stayed in Caravan Parks, and open to do some service doing some housesitting.
During the last year we went back to Mexico for our kids to experience their country and us getting involved with Mayan Culture, Cacao Fields and Elders.
During July and August we are coming back to Melbourne for some work and school; and although we have our own caravan to live in, as we are staying in the Eastern Suburbs, we will be looking to do some housesitting in the meantime, and keep us warm.
We have stayed and work in Farms; we love veggie patches, learning, and meeting people.
We love animals, specially my 15 yo, who is very patient and love to spend her time around animals.
We are so happy to go back to Aus for a while (for now) and have the opportunity to meet new people in the process. As our previous experiences with housesitting ended up in a pretty nice friendship. Read more...
