More information about this house sitter

We are a laid back, quiet and clean family of 4. We have been travelling around Australia for the past 2 years and are currently looking to settle on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We have experience house sitting all around Oz and can provide references if required.

House sitting in the area would give us the time to settle and find our own piece of paradise. We are willing to house sit anywhere from Gympie to just north of Brisbane. Inland properties are also great.

We will be available from mid March 2024 onwards.

More about us. Our children are 8 and 10yrs old, well behaved and homeschooled. We have an very calm and quiet 12year old and a 6 month old border collie with us. Both are well trained and good with all animals.

We come from country Victoria so we are use to acreage and the care required. We have experience on smaller farms, hobby size with sheep, some cows and horses. We adore animals big and small, are willing to learn anything required for your pets care including giving medications and would treat your home with the greatest respect.

We have often had about 3-4 dogs either in our care from previous house sits or on our own property. So we are not concerned about caring for 4 at a time. We love animals and have lots of love to give for all.

I love gardening and am willing to learn anything to do with particular care of your pride and joys. The biggest thing I miss while traveling is having a garden so I would give it extra care, if you approved. I’m also not great at ‘sitting still’ so any extra gardening, cleaning or caring jobs suit me well.

We have our own caravan, which we are happy to reside in. We would prefer to be able to have access to water if possible but not necessary. It is 23ft van so we also require a bit of space to pull up. Around 9meters in full length.
