I'm a friendly, honest, reliable, clean and tidy guy, that loves to travel. I can work from anywhere that has internet access (I have Starlink RV, I'm a graphic designer & illustrator and love taking photos). I'm looking to travel so I can keep experiencing all parts of Australia. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, kayaking/canoeing, so remote or rural locations are fine. I love all kinds of animals, and have taken care of horses , cattle, sheep, chickens and dogs before. I love dogs, however, I am allergic to cats (so I cannot mind cats, unfortunately). I am experienced in gardening, and can mow lawns etc.

“We engaged Sam and discussed our requirements with him on the phone, prior to our face-to-face meeting Dexter. Dexter requires someone who understands dachshunds and their quirky ways. Sam followed our instructions fully and kept us up-dated each weekend about what had happened. Sam kept the house neat and tidy, weeded the gravel paths and garden, keeping everything outside looking great. We were so exhausted when we left for our holiday that the weeds were winning! Sam and Dexter quickly developed a special bond, with Dexter sitting in his special chair beside Sam as Sam worked at his computer. Once home the house and garden were clean and tidy and looked a picture! Dexter was very pleased to see us again. It was apparent that he had not been over-fed and that he had been walked every day. We highly recommend Sam and will use him again if he's available.”

Thanks so much! I absolutely loved my time in Desma and Peter's lovely home in a wonderful region with so much to do and see, they let me eat the seasonal vegetables in the garden; but the most wonderful, or, as equally wonderful, was being able to mind and care for Dexter. He has been my all-time favourite dog to mind, such a gentle, caring and good dog. I would love him as a pet anytime! Such a character with real intelligence. Desma and Peter left clear instructions, and were very clear and responsive in their communications whilst away. It's actually rare you meet such lovely people who have a real sense of decency about them. Good people. I highly recommend anyone to sit for them and Dexter. I would love to do it again if I am free.

“I have just returned from a two month holiday trip away. I have a house and garden in a small county town. I have two Labrador dogs, Gem a 2yo and Mae 13 yo. I Had Sam come to my house to care for them while I was away. Sam was very caring for the dogs and I am sure that they and he enjoyed each others company. He regularly exercised and walked the dogs on a nearby farm that I had arranged permission for before I left. Sam sent regular texts and emails to me with pictures of the dogs out with him.He also was busy in the garden tidying up areas that needed attention as well as mowing the grass and weed control. When I returned the house and everything in it was cleaner and tidier than when I left!! Thanks so much and well done Sam.”
